Kick your new year into gear with a run for a great cause! World Down Syndrome Day is March 21st. Down syndrome is caused by an extra copy of the 21st chromosome. Under a microscope it looks like colorful socks!
In the “Before Times,” we’d raise awareness by asking people to wear colorful mismatched socks that day. This year, we’re aiming for glorious good heath, while we raise funds to support our Literacy and Education Center. Walk, run, or roll a 5k, 10k, or 3,210 steps. Send a picture of your mismatched socks to socialmedia@mydsact.org and they will post it on their Facebook page!
