At Engine 2, we believe it’s time for a change. To rid your diet of the junk (meat, dairy, refined and processed foods) while fully embracing tasty, nutritious, whole plant-based foods and adding more activity to your daily life.
Wherever you are on your plant-strong journey, our inaugural virtual 5k — the Engine 2 PLANT-STRONGTM 5k – is for you. Complete your 5k (3.1 miles) by walking or running (or a combination of the two – this isn’t a competition, work at your own pace!) all at once or over the course of a week (or more). This can be done on a treadmill, doing laps around the block, or outside anywhere you want. YOU CAN DO THIS! We hope that every time you look at your Plant-Strong medal, you are reminded that you can achieve ANYTHING! You’ll also be doing your part to make healthy fruits and vegetables more accessible to kids across the country – a portion of your registration fee will be going directly to!
Is this your first 5k? Here is a great 5k training plan for beginners. Members of our team have also used Zombies, Run and C25k by Zen Labs to train for their first 5ks.
Once you’ve registered, be sure to visit our private Facebook group for Plant-Strong 5k participants – our E2 coaches will be there with tips and motivation to help you succeed.
